Zenith S1 mirrorless camera body on a dark workbench, lens detached beside it

Zenith Optics · S1

Every photon, accounted for.

A 61-megapixel full-frame sensor, eight stops of stillness, and autofocus that refuses to blink — machined into 520 grams of titanium.

From $3,999 · body only · ships March

The sensor

61 megapixels. Zero apologies.

A backside-illuminated full-frame sensor with fifteen stops of dynamic range. Shadows you can lift twice and still print. Files that crop like you brought a second lens.

Stabilization

Eight stops of stillness.

The 5-axis gyro samples ten thousand times a second and moves the sensor before you know you did. Handheld seconds, not sixtieths — streetlights become light, not streaks.

Autofocus

Focus that never lets go.

Eye-AF holds a subject through crowds, railings, and rain — 759 phase points re-acquire in under a frame when someone walks through your shot. You compose; the S1 keeps the promise.

Built like an instrument

Keep scrolling. It gets closer.

Titanium, not trim.

The full top plate is milled from a single billet — 41% lighter than brass, and it wears in, not out.

A grip decided by 400 hands.

We cast prototypes until the shutter fell exactly where a resting finger lands. Day-long shoots, no white knuckles.

Every dial, machined to click.

Sealed against dust and rain, knurled for gloves, and damped so a nudge is never a stop.
